The LRD diet

The Liver Reducing Diet has finally started! Considering it's a time limited effort (it has to last no more than 2 weeks) it is doable and not too hard to follow. I've been given the major guidelines and portion sizes, and I have developed my own diet - which has been viewed and approved by my bariatric dietitian.


The picture is from the town where I was born, Pisa (Italy), and this tiny church is my favourite church from an architecture point of view. And a diet is the foundation for the architecture of my future life, so here it is!


I lost 2.8 kg in 5 days!

I cannot believe it, where was my diet and my resolve all my life??!!!! It's absolutely amazing. Yesterday morning I went on the scale and found out I had lost 900gr, today.... I lost another 900gr!!!!


Almost 2kg in 2 days!

This is unbelievable.

It shows also that at the beginning the diet takes a little to kick in, but then afterwards... WOW, just WOW!


Here is the diet - for me as a memento, and for you in case you want to compare it with your own LRD diet. You will see that it's a little light during the day, but then the dinner is perfectly satisfactory and you feel you're eating normal food :-)

Also, l am lactose intolerant so this is a dairy free diet. The Alpro yoghurt is the Greek style, which is high protein.
