Hi, I'm Julia and I'm a professional living in Dublin Ireland, enjoying life as much as I can but not that much... because I am morbidly obese.

This is my journey through bariatric surgery, at the end of which I hope to be able to change my bio.

January 2024, UPDATE: "end" of the journey. Not obese any more, my life has been totally transformed.

MY FAVOURITE small meal

I adore scallops. I bake them in their shells with breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley and a drizzle of olive oil. Will I be able to continue to have this dish a year after the surgery?
